What type of ASID membership do I apply for?
Interior Designer Memberships
Professional, Allied and Associate Membership Applications are all the same you simply check the type of membership your applying for.
Professional Membership
-Taken and passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) Exam. Professional Membership Application
Allied Membership
-Completed at least 40 semester (or 60 quarter) credit hours in Interior Design or Architecture Courses. Allied Membership Application
Associate Membership
-Been practicing Interior Design for at least 6 Years and have a degress in another subject (other than Interior Design). Associate Membership Application
Educator, Student & Industry Partner Memberships
Educator Membership
-Currently a full-time or part-time instructor in a post-secondary program of interior design education. Educator Membership Application
Student Membership
-Currently enrolled in an interior design or interior architecture program that requires at least 40 semester (or 60 quarter) credit hours to graduate. Student Membership Application
Student Advancement Membership
-Currently an ASID Student member and recently graduated from an interior design program. I’m ready to advance my membership to Allied membership! Student Advancement Membership Application
Industry Partner Membership
-My company manufactures or supplies products and/or services to the interior design industry. Industry Partner Membership Application

-If you were a past ASID Professional Members or Allied Member in the last 4 Years you can rejoin ASID by simply filling out a Reinstatement Application.
-If you were a past ASID Professional Members or Allied Member and it’s been 5 Years or longer you will need to reapply for membership.
